| Our History |

In the late 70’s, a young college student named Frank Dedon was operating a remodeling business and plowing snow as a part-time occupation to keep busy in the winter. In 1977-78, two major events occurred - the housing recession and a very harsh winter which led Frank to the conclusion that the snow removal business could be viable as a recession-proof, full-time job. As a result, Abraxus Snow Removal was born.
Using his experience, reliability and honesty along with his understanding of the personal and business needs of his customers , Frank built Abraxus into what it is today, a leader in the field of snow and ice management.
As Abraxus continues to grow, their client base continues to be the “who’s who” of industry and commercial giants in Northeast Ohio. The same qualities of success still remain true today - when the weather is at its worst, Abraxus is at its best. That’s why truest measuring stick of performance, word of mouth referrals, continues to be the largest growth factor of the company.

| Our People |

| Abraxus is a family run business that treats its employees, sub-contractors and customers like they are all part of the family. Our sub-contractors and their foreman are some of the most experienced in the industry. Routinely called upon in the middle of the night, they leave the warmth of their homes and their families to work in some of the harshest weather that Northeast Ohio can dish out to open areas and clear access for the safety of our clients and their customers. Abraxus, it’s employees and sub-contractors feel a keen obligation to the traveling public and have an esprit de corps that comes with dedication, training and experience. |
